| There are situations in life when the last thing we should do is take a peek at the dial of our wristwatch. I designed my "Cabrio" - a rectangular wristwatch with a pivoting case - with these situations in mind. On one side of the watch, blued steel hands keep pace with the progress of precious time. The other side of the watch reveals the painstakingly embellished automatic movement, the silently turning rotor, and the isochronic beats of the balance. The clever switch is made possible by a specially constructed case which allows the central portion of the watch to rotate 180° around its vertical axis.
Há umas situações na vida em que a última coisa que nós devemos fazer é fazer exame de um peek no seletor de nosso relógio de pulso. Eu projetei meu "Cabrio" - um relógio de pulso retangular com um caso girando - com estas situações na mente.
